Happy Easter!
He is Risen!
My chocolate bunny is about 2/3 gone already but the good news is that's all I intend to eat in the chocolate category this week.
In other news, the kids had an impromptu sleepover at MIL last night. We'll be collecting them at lunch time after we all share a quick meal together of rolls, cold meats and salads.
What will you have for lunch this Easter Sunday?

He has truly risen...and I am forever grateful that He removed our sins from us as far as the East is from the West ♥
ReplyDeleteSo glad he is risen - HOPE for the world, so grateful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you Marcia, hope you have a blessed day.
Roast lamb on the menu with mint sauce.
We just had rolls with smoked beed, cheese and pineapple...yumm. Enjoy the rest of your bunny and quiet time!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous bunny! :) :)
ReplyDeleteWe're going to our friends' house (the twin boys, M&C) for playing, crafts, lunch, and an egg hunt. I've made a cheesecake with fresh strawberry topping, 20 stuffed eggs (!!!), roasted asparagus, and spinach-grape salad. She's making a pork loin and mashed potatoes. So looking forward to celebrating with them.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter, Marcia!
Happy Easter! Easter is a BIG DEAL in our family and there is a massive lunch. I think it may be bigger than Christmas lunch. Today was seafood and beef curry and roasts and 3 desserts - just to name a few.
ReplyDeleteI know this is wrong of me but I wish my kids could have a sleepover. Lance and I are dying for some alone, quiet time. Alas, our babysitter is not ready yet. I need to make a plan B.
We had a roast in the crock pot- with potatoes, onions, carrots and garlic :) YUM!
ReplyDeleteYAY for sleepovers!!
ReplyDeleteWe had roast beef and a roast lamb - it was YUM! I don't do chocolate so D bought me a cashew nut brittle and some sweets :)
Its so wonderful - we said "He has risen" at least 10 times in church Sunday morning. I love that!
ReplyDeleteAS I had a tummy bug I have my bunny here in the office and will consume it over the week.
We had 10 adults and 7 kids over for lunch - I said to Hunter "like Christmas without the crackers" - we were exhausted but it was great family time spent. We made tow legs of lamb, one weber chicken and a leg of pork with roasted veggies, baked potatoes, yellow rice and brown lentil rice with ice cream, meingue and berries for desert. (and soem white easter eggs - mine also still waiting for me)
