{Friendship Friday} The girl with the yellow scarf

EDITED - this is post number 2000!

The lovely Mrs FF celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago and like all clever people, took the day off from work.

I happened to have the time free so we arranged to meet for lunch in Rosebank.

We had a lovely lunch and then browsed Woolworths for a bit. Interestingly, the last time I went into that Woolworths was just over two years ago at our first proper friend date.

(F, I scoured the archives and your first infertility group was 16 Feb 2012)

am I the only one who makes a list of things I have to remember to ask about?! (otherwise I get sidetracked with all the talking...)

drinks! (remember the days of carrying lots of bottles around?)

gorgeous girls!

A note about the yellow scarf I'm wearing - it was a "just because"/ random act of kindness from Mrs FF for me earlier this year.

One day D came home with a gift bag and said, "this is from F for you". I squealed (of course). Then he added, "she says she's very worried about you and hopes this cheers you up".

D is the messenger (they work in buildings next to each other, or something like that - you all know I'm terrible with directions) for all our gifts :)

It came at the perfect time when I was feeling really despondent about the Work Situation, was bright and cheery and I just loved that she thought of me and went to get me something happy :)

Tell me about a time when you had a lovely surprise just at the right time

PS Bonus points for anyone who knows about "the girl with the green scarf" without googling!

    1. Thank you!

(I always love hand pics - but I forgot how quick babies move - that was the best one of about 8 that I deleted!)

  2. Awwwww!!! I'm glad we for to spend time together, except it was seems like time flies and before we know it we need to say good bye

I googled then it came to me! So I won't spill the beans.

You were almost right. There's one building between D's office and mine. If you crawl you would be there in less than 5 mins :)
